A garden scene with mathematical symbols

I created this poem in response to a call out for poems with the theme ‘numbers’. My first draft was done in June 2021, and I worked on it a little in terms of line length and pauses between then and January 2025. It didn’t get accepted for the first place I submitted it to in 2021, but it was accepted and published in New Contexts 7: March 2025. And the moral of this story is that editing improves your work and don’t give up on submitting poems!
