I love to write. I always have. I’ve worked as a writer in different ways, as a technical author in the 1990s for an international software house, and as a producer of training materials (which I really love to do) both in the private and public sectors. As an academic, I’ve written books, papers and journal articles over many years. These things paid the mortgage, (as it were) but never really moved me. But poetry does. As does writing about poetry. So now that I am ‘retired’, (or, as I seem to have done, changed my career to that of a writer) I can concentrate on the things that move me and I love it.

In this part of my website, I have included some of the different things that I write, both for myself and for other people. This includes blogs for other websites, various book reviews, and articles on history. I hope you enjoy them.
